These young plants will be close to standard size, or about 12-15 inches tall at maturity, but with clusters of up to 5 or 6 bright orange blend flowers up to 4 inches across, with a contrasting purple lip featuring a bright yellow center. It is a cross between a deep burgundy cluster flowered type and a large flowered yellow with red lip, and features 19 different species in its long family tree. Such genetic diversity usually makes for an orchid that is adaptable to a range of conditions. These are still a year or two away from the possibility of flowers but growing strongly and ready soon for a larger pot.
