. When using a credit card or Paypal, your payment will be processed immediately and order shipped the following Monday or Tuesday if weather conditions permit. When paying by personal check or money order, your order will be shipped as soon as the funds have cleared our account and weather conditions permit. Checks and Money Orders should be made out to "Marble Branch Farms" and mailed to our address indicated above. Please include the last four digits of your order number on your check to aid us in identifying your payment when mailing a check or money order.Shipping PoliciesPlease read carefully so that you can make the best shipping option choice for your order!We ship primarily via UPS to the lower 48 United States, though we will also ship via USPS Priority Mail for smaller orders to the West Coast because of quicker transit times, and on request, to the rest of our shipping area. Larger orders to the West Coast may also be sent via UPS 3 Day Select Service. We also ship to Puerto Rico using USPS Priority Mail (actual USPS rate plus insurance, which will vary by the size of the box needed and will be adjusted before payment is processed. We normally ship only ONCE per week.
Orders received and paid for during each week from Monday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday
unless weather conditions are prohibitive, in which case your order will be held until favorable conditions return. In such cases we will contact you to advise you that shipping of your order is being delayed.UPS Ground is the option that will automatically price with your order (except Puerto Rico - see above). If you live in areas where the ground transit time is 4 business days or greater, We will send via USPS Priority Mail and contact you if additional payment is needed. In most cases the UPS Ground rate will also cover USPS Priority Mail. You can also request in the comments box at checkout for us to quote the UPS 3 Day Select™ rate if you live on the West Coast. But this is typically substantially higher and only practical for large orders. You will be able to see the cost of UPS Ground Shipping BEFORE you actually place your order and modify as necessary. If we can ship for less using USPS Priority Mail given your location and the size of box needed, we will adjust or add bonus plants as best suits the situation, but typically the rate is similar.

Once we have shipped your order you will receive an email containing your UPS tracking number and will be able to follow the progress of your orchid plants on the UPS web site! Due to the peculiarities of various email servers, this message sometimes is sent to your spam folder, so please check there first if you think you didn't receive notification of shipping.
Refund, Return, and Replacement Policies
As orchids are living things, we judge each request for refund or exchange on its individual merits. We guarantee our plants to arrive in good condition and will replace those damaged in shipping if you notify us by phone or email within 24 hours of receipt. If for any reason we cannot replace a specific plant we will allow you to make an alternate selection, or receive a store credit for the value of the original plant. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS: If you order arrives damaged (crushed, frozen, etc.) you should immediately notify us, AND, photograph both the damaged plants and the box so that we can file a claim with UPS. DO NOT throw either plants or box away until the claims process if completed!
We do not guarantee buds or flowers on shipped plants to arrive undamaged due to their delicate nature, but will do all we can to protect them when packing.
