Cattleya Small World x Triumphans (4” basket near blooming size)

New! While we have yet to flower this cross we are excited about the potential. Cattleya Small World combines Cattleya aclandiae and Cattleya luteola, two miniature species, while C. Triumphans combines C. dowiana and C. rex two of the most sought after large flowered species. The plants should remain on the compact side, with medium sized colorful blooms combining yellow and purple and a good chance of wonderful fragrance. We believe the bloom season will favor summer into fall, but flowers are also possible in spring given the combined habits of the parents. We only have a handful of these to sell, so if you are intrigued by this cross, which will produce results more graceful and “species-like” than typical hybrids, we recommend you don’t hesitate to order. Our plants originally came out of community pots several years ago and if anyone else still has plants to sell they will be gone quickly.
