You will find two color versions of the famous Guaritonia (Cattleytonia) Why Not in our online store plus two hybrids made from it that carry on its good habits and ease of care and reward with colorful and cute flowers that will come in large clusters as the plants mature. This offering as the greatest amount of variation from plant to plant and the photo shows a group of seedlings flowering for the first time. Plants will remain on the compact side and branch freely to produce multiple leads. This orchid will thrive in a basket or “orchid pot” with a free draining medium that dries quickly after watering. Like all Cattleya types it does best in bright light (no necessarily direct sun) and will grow and bloom under LED lights as well. We expect these will flower at least twice per year, blooming in no particular season and new growths develop.
