Rhyncolaeliocattleya Hsinying Rouge 'CH #6' (2.5” pot near blooming size)

This beautiful orchid has all of the fullness and beauty of a large flowered cattleya on a smaller growing plant that will bloom in a 4 inch pot. Some have even made their first blooms while still in these 2.5 inch pots. Expect plants that top out at somewhere under 12 inches with several fragrant glowing lavender flowers with graduated deeper shadings in the petals and a rich purple lip with bright yellow throat. Given the habits of the parents of the cross, we anticipate these will bloom in summer or fall, and perhaps at other times as they become older, multiple lead plants.
