Rhyncolaeliocattleya Hsinying Rouge 'CH #6' (2.5” pot young plant)

This beautiful orchid has all of the fullness and beauty of a large flowered cattleya on a smaller growing plant that can bloom in a 4 inch pot. Expect plants that top out at somewhere under 12 inches with several fragrant glowing lavender flowers with graduated deeper shadings in the petals and a rich purple lip with bright yellow throat. Given the habits of the parents of the cross, we anticipate these will bloom in summer or fall, and perhaps at other times as they become older, multiple lead plants. These are still young plants in 2.5.” pots so expect flowering to start in 18 to 24 months, possibly sooner with optimal care.
