Cymbidium Valerie's Forest (4" pot near blooming size)
New! This recently developed warmth tolerant Cymbidium was registered in 2018 and has the hot growing Cym. ensifolium multiple times in its family tree giving it the ability to grow in warm climates as well as keeping it compact in size. One immediate parent is Cym. Valerie Absolonova, developed by Everglades Orchids in the steamy interior of southern Florida, testifying to the fact that summer heat will not be an issue for this orchid. The mix of species in the background also creates a Cymbidium that can flower various times of the year, and often more than once, with upright spikes of full yellow flowers that have plenty of red spots on the lip. As typical for the genus, flowers easily last two months, and sometimes longer. These are nice full plants in 4” pots – get one before we step them up and increase the price.
