Rhyncattleanthe Orglade's Tradition ‘Sunset’ AM/AOS (4” pot blooming size)
New! This mericone of an awarded plant combines two very famous parents, Cattlianthe Hazel Boyd and Rhyncattleanthe Bouton D’or. The flowers are a bit over three inches across and when awarded were described as “sepals and petals bright orange, distinct amber-yellow central vein, heavily overlaid with faint scarlet venation; lip amber yellow, heavily overlaid scarlet, prominent area of amber yellow on both sides of white column; substance good; texture crystalline.” The compact plants can flower more than once per year as new growths develop. There is a slight amount of twisting to the leaves courtesy of C. California Apricot, one of the grandparents, but it isn't significant enough to be distracting. These are nice flowering size plants that have nearly filled their 4” round pots, so we will start to step them up soon. Get one before the price goes up!
