Louiscappeara Queen Adelia x Encyclia tampensis alba (3.5” net pot seedling)
We only have a handful left of this cross we did to create an Encyclia type orchid with brighter colored flowers than you usually see. The photos show the first plants from this cross to bloom for us. They have stayed nice and compact and make upright spikes in late spring into summer, lasting about two months. Over time they should make nice specimens with seven to ten flowers about two inches across per spike. Typical of Encyclia, they prefer bright light and perfect drainage to do well and are best grown in a basket or in a clay pot with a very open medium. One per customer please!
