Wow, what a cute little orchid! Topping out at about 5 inches tall, this New Guinea type Dendrobium is easy to grow and blooms for many months. What’s more, they bloom repeatedly from mature growths (notice in the photo the newest growths haven’t yet budded), so as the plant gains more mass, it puts on an ever more impressive display of cute, nodding blooms that are basically white, with purple speckles on the reverse. Blooms last 3 to 4 four months each winter into spring, with some sporadic bloom at other times possible as well. Like the other New Guinea type Dendrobium hybrids we offer, these are very adaptable to ‘windosill’ culture, not requiring high light to flower and preferring normal household temperatures and regular watering year round. We offer seedlings in 3 inch pots, as shown, blooming for the first time now. They are vigorous plants that produce many new growths per year and will quickly make a bushy, attractive specimen! At our spring shows, this orchid flew off our table so fast that even though we brought quantities with us, we sold out in just a few hours!
