Here is yet another great ‘New Guinea’ type Dendrobium that is easy to grow and bloom under ordinary household conditions! The attractive plants stand about a foot tall and are always blooming from both new and old canes with clusters of flowers in ‘designer’ colors of pale green with boldly striped lips! Plants bloom heavily in the cooler months, but continue to produce spikes of flowers throughout the year so it is very rare for them to be without at least some blooms. Canes continue to make spikes even after several years when their leaves have fallen, and new canes are continually produced, so plants just keep getting better and better over time. These ‘New Guinea’ Dendrobium orchids do NOT need starving, chilling, high heat or bright light to bloom like other groups and are among the easiest of orchids to grow successfully. They prefer good indirect light, intermediate to warm conditions (typical household temperatures are ideal), and regular watering and light feeding throughout the year. Great for beginners, but unusual and beautiful enough to satisfy connoisseurs! We offer blooming size plants in 3.5” pots that will arrive to you in bud or bloom.
