Guaricattonia Starrlyn ‘Yellow Flare’ (3” pot size)

Product Description
New! Two of our favorite Broughtonia sanguinea hybrids combine to make this showy, compact, easy to grow orchid that produces impressive bouquets of flowers two or more times per year! The parents are Ctna. Capri x Gct. Why Not, both easy growers that start to bloom young, and eventually produce large, often branched clusters of blooms that last about two months in good condition. This clone features nice yellow flares in each petal and a deep yellow throat, contrasting with the hot pink background. The plants make neat bifoliate growths and top out at under 12” tall when fully mature. When these plants outgrow their pots, consider a basket instead. They need to have their roots dry out well between watering, and seem to do much better as adult plants when grown in baskets or on mounts. They will take very bright light, but will also do fine in typical cattleya light and a temperature range that can vary from 50 to 90 degrees annually. A sweetie of an orchid!
